QTT, INC. expands TAPCO's Quixote Product Offerings

(DURHAM, NC July 2007) – Quixote Transportation Technologies, Inc. (QTT) has added Traffic and Parking Control Company, Inc. (TAPCO) as a distributor for its product lines in Wisconsin.  TAPCO, already serving Quixote Transportation Safety as a distributor, provides reliable traffic and parking products and services, and will be responsible for distributing QTT’s highway advisory radio, integrated systems, traffic sensors and analysis systems, Road Weather Systems, and mobile weather sensors. 

TAPCO is located in Elm Grove, Wisconsin, and was founded in 1956.  The company has advanced progressively, from originally providing only parking barriers and electronic parking gates to its expansive line of parking equipment, traffic signals and control products, signs, service and now QTT products.  TAPCO is a solid competitor in the traffic and parking markets; the company continually researches new product lines for its customers in order to offer the best available equipment.

The QTT product line will be handled by TAPCO Division Manager, Scott Plouff, with support from Jason Kugel, Inside Sales.  TAPCO customers include city and county engineers, transportation professionals and local government agencies.
