QUIXOTE TRANSPORTATION TECHNOLOGIES, INC. ADDS ELTON ZHANG AS NEW INTERNATIONAL SALES CONSULTANT

(DURHAM, NC October 2008) – Quixote Transportation Technologies, Inc. (QTT), has added Mr. Elton Zhang as its new International Sales Consultant for China.  In this role, Mr. Zhang will be working with, and expanding, QTT’s distribution group in China to develop the company’s markets for traffic technology and weather information systems. 

Mr. Zhang will be based in China, and has over 10 years experience in the ITS sector.  He is a graduate of Beijing Polytechnical Institute (China). 

Prior to joining QTT, he was instrumental in the implementation of the Smart Card parking system from Gemplus (France), and pioneered the sales and initial use of electronic toll collection for several toll ways in China while employed by EFKOM (Austria).  Mr. Zhang has also spent time as a graduate instructor at the Beijing Construction and Engineering College.
